A growing chemical manufacturing company is seeking a Inside Sales Representative to support inbound customer demand within a custom blending and specialty chemical environment. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role focused on qualifying inquiries, developing solutions, and working closely with internal teams to deliver the right product fit.
This position is ideal for someone with a technical or chemical background who is looking to take the next step into a more commercial role. You’ll gain exposure to pricing, decision-making, and business development while working alongside an experienced technical team.
Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to inbound customer inquiries and requests
  • Qualify opportunities based on technical fit, production capabilities, and margin
  • Work with customers to understand specifications and recommend solutions
  • Partner with internal technical and operations teams to support project execution
  • Develop quotes, pricing, and proposals
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Support account growth and identify additional opportunities
Qualifications
  • 2–6+ years of experience in chemical manufacturing, specialty chemicals, or a related technical field
  • Experience in a customer-facing role (technical sales, applications, inside sales, or support)
  • Ability to understand product specifications, formulations, or production processes (training provided)
  • Strong communication skills and commercial awareness
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, inbound / enquiry-driven environment
  • Motivated to grow into a more advanced sales or commercial role
Preferred
  • Exposure to custom blending, toll manufacturing, or specialty chemical products
  • Experience supporting industrial or manufacturing customers
  • Familiarity with CRM systems
