Inside Sales 

Minimum 5 Years experience in Technical Sales 

Venteon is currently seeking an experienced Inside Sales Account Manager to fill an opening with a manufacturing company located in the Metro Detroit area. The ideal candidates should have experience in sales in the automotive, industrial and / or agricultural space. 

 

Requirements of the Inside Sales Account Manager

  • Bachelor s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent work experience

  • Minimum 3 years of sales and/or account management experience

  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or technical sales environments 

  • Experience in tubing or fluid handling systems preferred

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • Experience with CRM and ERP systems preferred

Responsibilities of the Inside Sales Account Manager

  • Develop new sales opportunities

  • Travel to current and prospective customer sites from time to time

  • Manage existing customer accounts and coordinate customer RFQs from intake through quotation and follow-up

  • Prepare accurate and competitive quotations in coordination with estimating and engineering teams

  • Track and follow up on sales opportunities and customer inquiries

  • Maintain customer and opportunity data within the company s CRM and ERP systems

  • Identify and support new sales opportunities within existing and prospective accounts

  • Serve as a key customer contact for sales support and order coordination

  • Work with Engineering, Purchasing, and Production to ensure customer requirements are clearly communicated

  • Manage order entry and project tracking
