Inside Sales & Showroom Operations Associate

Imagine a customer arriving with a challenge. You greet them, ask the right questions, demonstrate a product that fits their needs, and enter a precise order—credit verified, payment processed, deposit handled. Later, you email reminders for an upcoming class, restock fast-moving items, and set up the showroom for an evening demo. If you like combining customer-facing work with organized operations, this is your lane.

Hourly pay range: $20.00–$22.00

Your impact

  • Serve as the first point of contact—greeting walk-in customers and supporting them via phone and email with clear, informed assistance.
  • Keep the showroom inviting and professional to elevate the customer experience.
  • Educate customers on products; conduct hands-on demonstrations of new items and techniques.
  • Accurately process sales and complete daily deposits.
  • Enter and manage customer orders with accuracy, including verification of credit information.
  • Organize and replenish inventory in both the showroom and stockroom.
  • Respond to inbound calls, return messages, and help follow up on past-due accounts.
  • Send reminders for scheduled trainings/educational classes and coordinate logistics.
  • Assist with setup, on-site support, and cleanup for classes and special events.

What you need to excel

  • Deep understanding of customer service best practices.
  • Valid driver’s license or government-issued ID.
  • English/Spanish bilingual ability preferred.
  • Preferred experience in janitorial, restoration, remediation, carpet cleaning, installation services, or big-box retail.
  • Cash-handling background preferred.
  • Strong administrative/documentation abilities.
  • Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Capacity to multitask and perform in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Exceptional organization and attention to detail.

Role scope

You’ll leverage specialized, multi-skilled experience and work with limited supervision. Expect to be a helpful, informal resource for newer team members. You’ll apply established procedures to solve atypical situations, understand how your team collaborates with others, and consistently deliver quality work—communicating clearly to keep everyone aligned.
