Inside Sales Support 


As a CPS team member, you will have a vital role in the growth of a well-established company. You will be responsible for the growth of sales and company brand by calling on new and existing customers in an established territory. These relationships will be cultivated by identifying customer needs and resolving customer challenges all while representing some of the premier manufacturers in the industry. Additionally, as Inside Sales Support, you will also be responsible to work as a liaison between our customers and our manufacturers managing projects in a timely and efficient manner.

Responsibilities:
  • Generate various reports used in CPS' day-to-day operations, including the 90-Day Plan, Sales Dashboards, Leads/Calls Reports, Open Quotes Reports, Expense Reports, and other reports as needed to measure performance and productivity. These reports will be reviewed during weekly company meetings.
  • Assist Outside Sales with lead generation, lead conversion, and networking activities within assigned territories while following the CPS sales process. Responsibilities include issuing quotes, meeting with customers as needed, and preparing submittals for manufacturers and project opportunities.
  • In partnership with the Sales Coordinator, assist Outside Sales, as needed, with planning, scheduling, and facilitating lunch-and-learn events and other customer presentations that showcase CPS' premier product lines.
  • Initiate and manage Service Sales Contracts by coordinating with manufacturers to schedule preventive maintenance and serving as a liaison between customers and manufacturers.
  • Generate a minimum of five (5) new qualified leads each month.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer, sales, contact, calendar, and project information within the company's CRM and other sales software.
  • Maintain industry knowledge by attending classes, workshops, trade shows, and manufacturer training as available.
  • Analyze competitive pricing to maximize margins and profitability while maintaining customer trust and strong business relationships.
  • Provide technical assistance to end users, customers, engineers, and other stakeholders by recommending appropriate products and solutions when needed.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, manufacturers, vendors, and business partners to deliver professional, efficient, and comprehensive customer solutions.
  • Resolve customer questions, complaints, and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating potential issues when appropriate.
  • Embrace and support the company's mission, vision, and culture as outlined in company policies and guidelines.
  • Meet or exceed individual monthly and annual sales goals.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to teamwork and contribute to the overall success of the company.
  • Promote the CPS brand within the local community, helping position the company as the leading provider of mission-critical solutions.
  • Professionally represent and promote CPS and its manufacturers throughout the marketplace.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a sales support role utilizing CRM platforms and reporting tools.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build professional relationships and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex calendars while coordinating with third-party vendors, customers, manufacturers, end users, and internal team members.
  • Ability to travel occasionally within CPS' designated territory for industry training, customer meetings, and trade shows (typically 3–5 consecutive days).
