LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a well-established distribution and manufacturing organization in the Nashville area to hire an Inside Sales Coordinator. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys customer interaction, order management, problem-solving, and supporting both internal teams and external partners in a fast-paced environment.
Type: Temporary (4+ months)
Compensation: $23-$24 per hour
Location: Nashville, TN (Hybrid schedule: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote following training)
Responsibilities
Process customer orders, order changes, and returns while ensuring accuracy and timely completion
Serve as a primary point of contact for customers and internal teams regarding order status, inventory, pricing, and product information
Provide quotes, pricing support, and inventory availability updates
Review orders for accuracy, including quantities, delivery dates, item numbers, and special instructions
Research and resolve order discrepancies, inventory issues, and customer inquiries
Maintain reports and documentation to support daily operations
Collaborate with multiple departments to ensure excellent customer service and order fulfillment
Handle a high volume of customer communication via phone, email, and chat
Qualifications
1+ years of experience in customer service, inside sales, sales support, order processing, or a related field
Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
High school diploma or GED required; additional education is a plus
Required Skills
Strong customer service and communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Comfortable navigating ERP systems and business software
SAP experience is highly preferred
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
Reliable transportation and ability to maintain an in-office schedule as required
