Summary:

Customer Service Representative at Pacific Seafood is a key role on our Sales team supporting efforts to ensure we exceed our customers' expectations. This position involves supporting our customers and responding to inquiries and is ideal for someone who has strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities


  1. Sales and Promotion 
    • Conduct sales calls.
    • Provide coverage for salespeople as needed.
    • Present and promote new products to customers, highlighting their benefits and features.
  2. Order Management and Administration
    • Manage order processing efficiently from receipt to shipment.
    • Handle incoming phone calls promptly and professionally.
    • Take orders from customers with clarity and accuracy, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
    • Complete, process, and maintain all necessary paperwork and records.
  3. Customer Service and Issue Resolution
    • Collaborate with the customer service team to address inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
    • Conduct research to identify and resolve customers' disputes and problems according to established guidelines.
    • Take proactive measures to identify and address transportation and delivery issues, ensuring smooth and timely logistics operations.
Additional responsibilities may be assigned as deemed necessary to support the overall goals and objectives of the position.

What you bring to Pacific Seafood


Education and Experience
  • Required
    • One year certificate from college or technical school; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Preferred
    • Knowledge of order processing systems.
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Physical Requirements

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the team member:
  • Must be available to work Monday–Friday during regular working hours, with occasional weekend duties.
  • Ability to maintain a stationary position 80% of the time, with intermittent walking, standing, bending, reaching, and/or crawling.
  • Ability to move and transport documents, equipment, or other items weighing up to 50 pounds across various locations for different team members, departments, and events.
  • Capable of occasional travel as required by duties, demonstrating efficiency and effectiveness in diverse locations.
  • Capable of operating a computer and other office productivity machinery, including a calculator, copy machine, and printer.
  • Capable of frequently communicating with team members and stakeholders, accurately conveying detailed or important spoken instructions.
  • Capable of perceiving visuals for activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcribing, viewing a computer screen, and engaging in extensive reading.

Total compensation: $20 per hour
