We are a leading manufacturer and repair specialist in high-speed precision spindles and automation components. For nearly three decades, we have been at the forefront of the industry, partnering with manufacturers across woodworking, metalworking, aerospace, automotive, composites, stone, and robotics sectors. Our mission is to make the world more productive by delivering superior spindle performance, unmatched reliability, and rapid technical support that minimizes costly machine downtime. We offer a complete range of solutions, including new spindle manufacturing, expert repairs and rebuilds (often exceeding OEM standards), predictive health monitoring systems, custom engineering, and comprehensive lifecycle support. Known for our technical expertise and customer-first approach, we help manufacturers optimize their CNC operations and stay ahead in an increasingly competitive, high-precision manufacturing landscape.

We are seeking a driven, technically savvy Technical Sales Representative who thrives at the intersection of deep product knowledge and strong relationship-building. This is far more than a traditional sales position — you will serve as a trusted technical growth partner to your customers, identifying opportunities, understanding complex manufacturing challenges, and delivering tailored high-performance spindle and automation solutions that drive real productivity gains. In this hybrid role (primarily remote with occasional travel to our North Carolina headquarters and key customer sites), you will own the full sales cycle from proactive lead generation through to successful deal closure. You will work closely with our experienced application engineers and product management team to ensure every recommendation is technically sound and perfectly aligned with customer needs. If you are passionate about consultative selling in technical industrial markets and motivated by long-term customer success paired with exceptional earning potential, this is an outstanding career opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of your sales pipeline by proactively identifying and qualifying high-potential leads through outbound telephone outreach, social media, networking, and referrals.
  • Conduct consultative discovery conversations to deeply understand customers' manufacturing processes, pain points, and technical requirements.
  • Deliver compelling virtual product demonstrations and presentations that clearly articulate the value, performance benefits, and ROI of our spindle solutions and services.
  • Collaborate with application engineers and product specialists to validate technical feasibility, recommend optimal configurations, and develop tailored proposals.
  • Manage all customer interactions, forecasts, and documentation within our CRM system with a high level of accuracy and discipline.
  • Negotiate agreements, close new business, and nurture long-term strategic relationships to drive repeat business and account growth.
  • Stay current on industry trends, competitor offerings, and advancements in CNC machining, automation, and spindle technology.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of proven technical B2B sales experience in CNC machining, machine tools, automation, robotics, or related industrial capital equipment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related technical field (required).
  • Strong technical aptitude and the ability to understand and explain complex mechanical and electro-mechanical systems.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce or similar) and virtual meeting tools such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
  • Excellent communication, active listening, presentation, and objection-handling skills.
  • Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas and revenue targets.
  • Self-motivated with high resilience and a hunter mentality combined with strong relationship-building abilities.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for customer visits and internal meetings.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $70,000 – $140,000 per year, depending on experience and fit.
  • Unlimited Quarterly Commission with significant earning potential for high performers (no caps on commissions).
  • Comprehensive benefits package including healthcare, dental, vision, and life insurance.
  • Safe Harbor 401(k) plan with company matching.
  • Hybrid work arrangement with flexible scheduling, generous accrued PTO, and paid holidays.
  • Professional development support through tuition reimbursement and internal growth opportunities within a rapidly expanding organization.

If you are a technically savvy sales professional who is passionate about solving real manufacturing challenges and want to build a rewarding career with a respected industry leader, we encourage you to apply.
