Clean Harbors is seeking an InSite Operations Manager II to oversee onsite environmental operations and manage the InSite team at a customer facility in San Francisco, CA. In this role, you will coordinate all Clean Harbors activities at the site, provide Health and Safety oversight for onsite staff, and manage the customer's air, water, and hazardous waste programs from cradle to grave. You will ensure safe, compliant, and efficient service delivery while building strong relationships with customer stakeholders and driving continuous improvement in operations and compliance.

Starting Pay Range: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 salary DOE

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or a related field (or an equivalent combination of education and experience). 5-7 years of experience in environmental services, waste management, or a closely related field. Strong leadership and management skills, with experience supervising and developing staff. Familiarity with EPA, DOT, NRC, and applicable state and local regulations. Working knowledge of profit and loss (P&L) management and basic financial metrics. Strong customer service orientation with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, work with little or no supervision, and make sound decisions in a dynamic environment. Proficiency with Windows-based applications and standard business/computer tools.

Preferred Qualifications Commercial Driver's License - Class B or C with hazardous materials endorsement. Experience managing onsite/InSite-style environmental programs at customer facilities.

Manage and coordinate the efforts and Health and Safety oversight of Clean Harbors employees supporting the customer's air, water, and/or hazardous waste programs. Manage and track facility-wide "cradle to grave" waste generation, storage, and disposal, providing waste tracking reports as required. Ensure proper packaging, labeling, and handling of waste to maximize efficiency and maintain compliance with applicable regulations and customer requirements. Schedule transportation and disposal for outgoing wastes, working with internal teams and external vendors as needed. Maintain adequate levels of equipment and supplies to support routine service needs and ongoing projects. Scope special projects, provide estimates, and coordinate resources to execute projects safely and efficiently. Assist the customer in compiling data needed for the Generator's Annual Report and other required environmental reporting functions. Conduct facility-wide compliance audits, including inspections of staging, accumulation, and storage areas, to ensure proper housekeeping and regulatory compliance. Provide weekly status reports to facility management summarizing performance, issues, and upcoming work. Support and reinforce Clean Harbors' safety culture, policies, and procedures at the customer site. Perform other related duties as assigned to support overall InSite Program and customer success.
