Job DescriptionJob Title Inspection Technician ILocation Fort Worth TX 76134Duration 12 months contract with possible more extensionSummaryThe Inspection Technician Associate works in the areas of inspection or quality test of products within the surgical instrumentation and quality organization. The Receiving Inspection Technician Associate will perform quality inspections to standard AQLs. Tasks will typically be interpreting blueprints sketches drawings manuals specifications and geometric dimensioning and tolerance in order to qualify parts into stock locations. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the followingInspect purchased parts assemblies hardware special processes and materials for conformance to engineering requirements and specifications.Examine items for defects in materials work and damage occurring in transit.Compare quantity and part number of items received with purchasing data and other specifications to ensure completeness and accuracy of order.Experience in manufacturing inspection repair test or quality with demonstrated hands-on electromechanical testing preferred within a medical device industry.Experience using CMM Optical Comparator Height gages V-Blocks Thread Gages Micrometers and Calipers.Experience performing First Article InspectionsThe manager would like to see candidate with more of a quality background and knowledge of quality systems. Dimensional experience is good but he would like to see the quality experience along with the dimensional experience.High School Diploma or equivalentThe ability to fluently read write understand and communicate in English1 year of relevant experience
