Job Responsibilities
- Perform quality inspections on purchased parts, assemblies, hardware, special processes, and materials to ensure conformance to engineering requirements and specifications.
- Examine items for defects in materials, workmanship, and damage from transit.
- Verify the quantity and part numbers of received items against purchasing data and other specifications to ensure order accuracy.
- Interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, and geometric dimensioning and tolerance to qualify parts into stock locations.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
- 1 year of relevant experience.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in manufacturing inspection, repair, test, or quality, preferably within the medical device industry.
- Hands-on experience with electromechanical testing.
- Proficiency in using CMM, Optical Comparator, Height gauges, V-Blocks, Thread Gauges, Micrometers, and Calipers.
- Experience performing First Article Inspections.
