Our client, aerospace manufacturing is seeking an Inspector - 1 Shift to join their team. As an Inspector - 1 Shift, you will be part of the Quality Department supporting manufacturing and quality assurance teams. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Inspector - 1 Shift
Location: Attleboro, MA
Pay Range: $22
Shift: Days (40 hours)
What's the Job?
- Perform quality inspections of products throughout the manufacturing process, from raw materials to finished goods
- Initiate nonconformance material reports (NCMR) and document inspection results accurately
- Conduct incoming, first article, in-process, and final inspections using various measurement tools
- Generate Certificates of Conformance (CoC) and ensure compliance with approved procedures
- Read and interpret blueprints, SOPs, and written instructions to maintain quality standards
What's Needed?
- At least 1 year of GD&T experience with hands-on application, not just blueprint reading
- Technical training or equivalent work experience in quality inspection
- Proficiency with mechanical inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and CMMs
- Understanding of aerospace quality management systems and industry standards
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
