The 100% Inspector is responsible for ensuring the customers receive defect-free parts from 100%
inspection.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Inspect/sort parts needed for shipment;
- Follow and maintain the daily shipment quantities needed for shipment;
- Notify the Supervisor when a quality problem occurs or required quantities cannot be achieved;
- Keep audit log up to date and accurate;
- Assure product is properly identified and organized at all times;
- Assist others as needed to ensure customers receive parts on time;
- Verify or sort discrepant product to make it available for shipment;
- Maintains a safe and clean work environment;
- Maintains an active role in quality, production, and engineering as directed by the manager;
- Adheres to all T&L policies and procedures as they relate to this position;
- Performs any assignment and fulfills areas of responsibility as directed by the manager;
- Has the responsibility and authority to stop a process which is, or is in suspect of, producing non-conforming product;
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent grasping to pick up and inspect parts;
- Visual acuity to visually inspect parts;
- Pulling/lifting up to 20lbs infrequently;
- Prolonged periods of sitting;
- Use of protective items such as safety shoes, glasses, hearing protection
Monday - Thursday - 10 hour shifts
