Qualifying Questions:

Summary:
Perform visual and dimensional inspections of in-process and completed products, including electronic units, electro-mechanical assemblies, and mechanical components
Identify defects such as structural flaws, internal issues, and missing welds
Use precision measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, dial indicators, scales, gauges, fixtures)
Accept or reject products based on inspection results and specifications
Interpret blueprints, drawings, re-drawings, diagrams, and inspection instructions
Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI) and support quality control processes
Perform inspections using drawings/CATIA, process specifications, and test procedures
Initiate and document non-conforming materials, parts, assemblies, and tools
Inspect vendor, subcontractor, and in-house components for compliance
Maintain accurate quality records and documentation
Perform line clearances between production lots to ensure proper material control
Support continuous workflow by assisting with cross-training and production needs
Follow established work sequences and quality control procedures, including statistical process control (SPC) when applicable
Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
Experience using measurement tools and inspection equipment
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documentation
Experience reviewing re-drawings and engineering changes
Knowledge of First Article Inspection (FAI) processes
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Training and certification will be provided as needed
Must be willing to support cross-functional tasks within production
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
