Construction Field Inspector - Job Description
The Construction Field Inspector performs field testing and inspection on active construction sites, supporting projects across Central New Jersey. This role focuses on soil, asphalt, and concrete testing, ensuring work meets project specifications and safety standards. The position is highly hands-on and field-based, offering the opportunity to learn from senior inspectors and build a strong foundation in construction quality inspection.

Work Environment
This is a primarily field-based role with daily travel to active construction sites across Central New Jersey. Typical start times are in the early morning, and schedules may vary based on project demands. Work is time-sensitive, and punctuality is critical, as teams often leave early to meet 7 AM site start times. The role involves working outdoors in various weather conditions and in a physical, hands-on environment around soil, asphalt, concrete, and heavy equipment. The position requires appropriate field attire suitable for construction sites and adherence to all site safety practices and personal protective equipment requirements.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
