Inspector - Entry Level

Job Title: Entry-Level Inspector

About the Role

We're looking for a motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Inspector! In this role, you'll visit unoccupied buildings to check for lead water pipes and document your findings using a simple digital system.

You'll work alongside an experienced Senior Consultant, gain hands-on field experience, and be part of a state-funded project-with opportunities to grow into future roles or departments after the assignment.

What You'll Do

• Inspect unoccupied properties to identify possible lead water pipes
• Record your findings accurately using an easy-to-use electronic system
• Follow clear inspection guidelines and safety procedures
• Partner with a Senior Consultant for guidance and support
• Communicate any issues or updates to the project team
• Travel between sites and plan your daily route efficiently
• Maintain organized records using basic computer tools

What We're Looking For

• Great attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Ability to follow step-by-step processes
• Comfortable using basic computer programs (like Microsoft Office)
• Reliable transportation (you'll be traveling between locations)
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

Nice-to-Have (But Not Required!)

• Any experience in construction, inspections, or hands-on field work
• Interest in building systems, plumbing, or infrastructure
• Experience working on projects or in outdoor/field environments

Work Environment

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of New London, CT.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $24.00/hr.
