    If yes, then bring your talent and skills to F.E. Moran Special Hazard Systems! We have an exciting opportunity in Oak Ridge, TN for an experienced Fire Protection Systems Inspector. As an Inspector, you will provide our customers with timely and accurate fire protection system inspections and testing and preventative maintenance in an industrial environment.

    You Are:

    • KNOWLEDGEABLE: High school diploma or equivalent required; Understanding of NFPA standards and state and local building and fire codes preferred; Ability to comply with OSHA requirements
    • EXPERIENCED: Previous fire protection systems inspections experience
    • A SELF-STARTER: Learn quickly and use your resources to be successful in your role
    • ANALYTICAL: Ability to read and understand technical information, analyze, think critically, and problem-solve
    • FLEXIBLE:Possess a valid driver's license with a clear driving record; travel to client sites regularly

    What You'll Do:

    • CUSTOMER-SERVICE: Provide reliable, excellent quality customer support through on-site inspections and preventative maintenance services on fire alarm systems
    • KEEP TO CODE: Ensure that inspections are compliant with local, state, federal, and district codes, regulations, and specifications
    • INSPECT: Perform inspections on fire protection systems in accordance with NFPA and Authority Having Jurisdiction
    • DOCUMENT: Recognize and accurately document deficiencies found during an inspection
    • COMMUNICATE: Provide thorough and timely information to clients; Communicate status of work orders to supervisors and other office staff
    • BUILD RELATIONSHIPS: Maintain positive working relationships with field and office staff
    • HANDLE: Lift inventory, bend and stoop, carry and move materials, and load and unload vehicles
