Location: Greeneville, TN

Pay Rate: $12.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday -Friday | 5 AM - 3:30 PM

Education Requirements

Job Duties

  • Inspect shipping crates used for John Deere riding mowers
  • Repair damaged crates and replace missing cotter pins
  • Remove stickers, residue, and debris from crates
  • Unload, stack, and organize crates throughout the facility
  • Pick, pack, and prepare materials for shipment
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Follow quality standards and safety procedures
  • Assist with other warehouse and production tasks as assigned

Physical Capabilities

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform inspection activities throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift products or materials weighing up to 40 pounds when required.
  • Ability to use precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment with accuracy.
  • Ability to maintain visual focus and attention to detail while inspecting products in manufacturing or warehouse environments.

What You Will Do

As an Inspector, you will inspect incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to verify compliance with quality standards and engineering specifications. You will use precision measuring equipment, document inspection results, identify nonconforming materials, support corrective actions, and help maintain quality records while promoting safe and efficient manufacturing operations.

An Inspector helps organizations produce reliable products by verifying dimensions, workmanship, and compliance with quality requirements. This role requires technical knowledge, strong attention to detail, and the ability to consistently apply inspection standards.

The Inspector uses measuring instruments, inspection procedures, and quality documentation to evaluate products throughout manufacturing while maintaining accurate records and supporting continuous improvement efforts.
