Job Title: Inspector Intern

Job Description

We are seeking motivated Spring/Summer interns eager to gain field experience while pursuing a career in Geotechnical Engineering, Surveying, or Civil Engineering. This role provides a fantastic opportunity to build a long-term career in engineering or surveying.

Responsibilities

• Assist in materials testing, particularly with concrete beams.
• Participate in field inspections and provide support to engineering teams.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure project tasks are completed efficiently.

Essential Skills

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Capability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Willingness to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Interest in Geotechnical Engineering, Surveying, or Civil Engineering.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and operate equipment responsibly.
• Work boots required for fieldwork.

Work Environment

All work will take place at the Louisville Airport. There is no travel required, offering the convenience of a fixed location. Saturday work typically starts at 1 PM and concludes around 9 PM, while Sunday shifts are lighter, generally from 10 AM to 2 PM. The role requires working in outdoor environments, handling various weather conditions, and adhering to safety standards.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Louisville, KY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
