Inspector

-Inspector needs experience with hand tools such as calipers, micrometer, pin gauges etc. Must work with other departments to address quality issues.

Position responsibilities

• To conduct first piece and in-process inspection, final inspection and testing on a variety of parts and products .

• Conducts assigned inspection and testing activities consistent with Quality policies, procedures, and standards.

• Performs standard surface plate and coordinate measuring machine inspection.

• Create and maintain inspection plans.

• Uses precision measuring instruments and makes, or assists in making, precision inspection set-ups.

• Conducts, or assists in conducting, random audits during operations to ensure that machined parts comply with process and final drawing specifications.

• Performs receiving inspection and testing of vendor parts, services, and materials were required.

• Assists in reviewing the calibration status of inspection equipment, ISO Standards, and reports problems as appropriate.

• Updates and maintains daily inspection logs
