Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Aerospace Inspector to join a Quality Assurance team in Owasso, OK. This role is responsible for ensuring aircraft components and assemblies meet FAA regulations, AS9100 standards, customer requirements, and internal quality specifications.

The ideal Aerospace Inspector has experience in aerospace inspection, strong documentation skills, and the ability to work with precision measuring equipment in a highly regulated manufacturing environment.
Required Experience & Skills
High school diploma or GED required
2+ years of aerospace inspection or FAA repair station experience preferred
Familiarity with FAA Part 145 regulations and AS9100 standards
Experience using precision measuring tools including calipers, micrometers, and bore gauges
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications
Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
Ability to identify nonconformances and support corrective action efforts
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic REQUIRED
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Perform visual and dimensional inspections of incoming, in-process, and finished components and assemblies
Verify tolerances using precision measuring instruments
Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, customer specifications, and company quality standards
Review Certificates of Conformance, work orders, inspection reports, and related documentation
Maintain accurate quality records in accordance with FAA and AS9100 requirements
Identify, document, and report nonconforming materials or processes
Assist with root cause analysis and corrective action activities
Perform calibrations as required
Support internal, customer, and regulatory audits
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Work closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve issues and improve processes
Preferred Qualifications
Technical training or certification in aerospace quality
Experience with Zeiss Calypso CMM programming
Knowledge of non-destructive testing (NDT), calibration, or special processes
Previous aerospace manufacturing or repair station experience
Preferred Certifications
FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License
ASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI)
IPC Certification
NADCAP Experience
NDT Level II Certification
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
Ability to work around manufacturing equipment and aerospace components
Ability to safely wear required PPE when necessary
