Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Inspector / Packer to join a fast-paced manufacturing team in Sand Springs, OK. This hands-on production role focuses on inspecting and packaging heat-forged rail track spikes, ensuring all products meet strict quality and production standards.

Required Experience & Skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift
Strong attention to detail and ability to spot product defects quickly
Willingness to perform repetitive production work in a fast-paced environment
Basic familiarity with measurement tools, gauges, or inspection equipment
Forklift experience preferred (training may be available)
Ability to stay focused and maintain quality standards throughout long shifts
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic are required
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Inspection Duties (Approx. 50%)
Visually inspect forged rail spikes for defects including cracks, pits, laps, discoloration, scale buildup, or deformation
Use preset gauges and measurement tools to verify dimensions and head shape accuracy
Monitor product flow on conveyor lines and clear jams when needed

Packaging Duties (Approx. 50%)
Operate automated filler equipment to ensure proper packaging weights
Adjust and set load scales as needed
Manually transfer filled containers onto pallets safely and efficiently
Label finished containers accurately
Maintain production counts and packaging records

Additional Duties
Occasionally operate forklifts to move palletized materials to staging, storage, or shipping areas
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Follow all workplace safety procedures and production standards
Work Environment
Fast-paced manufacturing / industrial production environment
Exposure to production machinery, conveyors, industrial materials, and repetitive workflow
Physically active role requiring standing, lifting, walking, repetitive movement, and production pace consistency
PPE required in production areas
