Inspector - Packing (3rd Shift)

Salary Range: $18.37 - $22.26/hour (pending experience)

Hours: Sunday / 10pm - 6am

Tuesday - Thursday / 6pm - 6am

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be able to read standard/metric measuring tape.
• Must be able to perform basic mathematic calculations or standard metric measurements.
• Ability to work with all levels of employees.
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Wrap and stack all finished slit rolls, in order to allow production employees to run machines with minimal down time
• Keep track of all packing supplies (e.g., boxes, roll cradles, and core plugs, etc.), and inform the Shipping Lead when reordering is necessary
• Load the wrapping station with proper supplies (e.g., boxes, core plugs, etc.)
• Assist Slitter Operators when able to do so
• Maintain work areas clean, assist with general housekeeping
• Operate bailer in a safe manner
• Assist slitter operators by cutting fiber and plastic cores
• Clean and deburr plastic cores
• Comply with all ProAmpac Safety, Quality, Operational and Employment policies and practices
• Day-to-day compliance with quality, food safety and prerequisite programs
• Daily cleanup of equipment
• Perform other duties as needed
