Your Role
Akkodis is seeking an Inspector, Quality Control for a Contract with a client in San Ramon, CA. The ideal candidate with experience performing visual, dimensional, and functional inspections to ensure products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Note: Shift: 5 am to 1:30 pm
Rate Range: $26/hour to $28/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Inspector, Quality Control Job Responsibilities include:
Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of materials, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
Conduct testing and measurement activities using precision tools, gauges, CMMs, and other inspection equipment in accordance with established procedures.
Review engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements to verify product conformance and identify quality issues.
Document inspection results, test data, and non-conformance findings while maintaining accurate quality records and reports.
Support First Article Inspections, AQL sampling activities, GR&R studies, and special testing requests as required.
Collaborate with quality, engineering, and manufacturing teams to investigate defects, recommend improvements, and support Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
1-2 years of experience in quality inspection, quality control, or manufacturing environments.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, understand basic GD&T principles, and perform inspection sampling techniques (AQL Sampling).
Experience performing visual, dimensional, and functional inspections using precision measuring tools, automated inspection equipment, and Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs).

Pay Details: $26.00 to $28.00 per hour
