About the Role:
Connect Staffing Agency of Georgia LLC is currently hiring an Inspector Repair department within a carpet manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for someone with attention to detail and experience in material handling.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect rolls of carpet for quality and defects within the repair department
- Ensure products meet company standards before shipment or further processing
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on rolls of carpet as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve quality concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
- Utilize inspection tools to track quality metrics and performance.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes and product quality.
- This position requires travel to multiple facilities to perform inspections of carpet rolls; mileage reimbursements is provided per company policy.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus.
- Reliable transportation
- LTO (Lift Truck Operator) experience required (Pole)
- Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work setting.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to maintaining safety standards.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening upon offer of employment.
