Phillips Staffing is seeking Quality Inspectors to join a dynamic team at a leading textile, chemical, and floor covering solutions manufacturer in Simpsonville that offers various advancement opportunities and the ability to go to a full-time status as early as 90 days! Responsibilities:
Inspect finished rolls for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
Perform visual and manual inspections of materials and finished products.
Identify and document defects such as inconsistencies, misalignment, or material flaws.
Work closely with machine operators to address quality concerns and maintain production standards.
Ensure hold rolls are properly labeled with red hold cards and stored in designated areas.
Assist in quality audits and report non-conformances to supervisors.
Maintain accurate records of inspection results and production logs.
Support production team in maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements:
Basic written, communication and math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
Ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions
Forklift experience
High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to left 40lbs at various times throughout the day
Shift Schedule: 7-day rotating shift schedule (7 days on 1st shift, 2 days off, 7 days on 3rd shift, 5 days off)Pay Rate: $17.09/hr
