Description: You will be the Inspector Senior for the Quality Inspection Team. Our team is responsible for ensuring that all incoming supplier products meet stringent quality standards before they enter production.

What You Will Be Doing As the Inspector Senior you will be responsible for overseeing the receipt and verification of supplier components, guaranteeing that every part complies with Lockheed Martin's exacting specifications. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Perform visual inspections on received supplier products.
  • Use various measuring devices to check dimensions, verify functionality and perform special checks as defined in the receiving inspection plan.
  • Create quality notifications for all found nonconformances.
  • Inspect received paperwork submissions against purchase order requirements in SAP and Apriso.
  • Effectively communicate and report discrepancies.
  • Must be able to perform in a fast-paced work environment supporting urgent part shipments for production.
  • Must be able to work in various climates and around explosives.

Further Information About This Opportunity This position is in Camden. Discover more about our Camden, Arkansas location. MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.

Basic Qualifications:

  • This position will be located at a facility that requires special access and the selected candidate must be a US citizen.
  • Must be able to obtain a secret security clearance.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Quality inspection experience.
  • Knowledge of inspection tools such as digital calipers, Go/No go gauges, micrometers, fixtures, and other basic measuring devices.
  • Basic working knowledge of working from inspection instructions, blueprints/drawings, and specifications.

Desired Skills:

  • Prior receiving inspection experience.
  • Prior SAP/APRISO/P2P software experience is a plus.
  • Strong teaming ability and effective communication skills.
  • Critical thinking and problem solving.
  • Be able to work independently.
  • Detail-oriented and high understanding of drawings, part lists, revision control, reference documents and receiving instructions.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
