Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and licensed HVAC Install Manager to lead a residential installation team for our client located in Western North Carolina. . This role is responsible for overseeing all HVAC installation projects, ensuring quality workmanship, code compliance, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong technical knowledge, proven team management experience, and an active HVAC license.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee daily operations of the residential HVAC installation team
  • Schedule and coordinate installation jobs to ensure timely completion
  • Supervise, train, and mentor install technicians and crews
  • Ensure all installations meet company standards, manufacturer specifications, and local/state codes
  • Serve as the licensed HVAC professional for the company, maintaining compliance with licensing requirements
  • Conduct job site inspections and quality control checks
  • Troubleshoot complex installation issues and provide technical guidance
  • Collaborate with sales and service teams to ensure smooth project execution
  • Monitor inventory, equipment, and materials for install projects
  • Maintain safety standards and enforce company policies and procedures

Qualifications:

  • Active HVAC License (required)
  • Proven experience in residential HVAC installation
  • Previous leadership or management experience in HVAC or construction field
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, ductwork, and installation best practices
  • Familiarity with local codes, permits, and inspections
  • EPA Certification (required)
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing multiple crews or large install volumes
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Experience with job scheduling software or CRM systems. Service Titan software experience is highly desired.
