Own the Project. Solve the Puzzle. Build the Future.
Position: Installation Project Coordinator
Location: Annapolis, MD (In-Office)
Type: Full-Time
Total Comp Opportunity: $56,000 – $75,000 (Base + monthly performance bonus)
Chesapeake Electric is growing rapidly, and we are looking for an exceptionally organized, process-minded operational quarterback to take total ownership of our residential installation projects from the moment they are sold through final inspection and closeout.
To be clear: This is not a field electrician role nor is it a passive, traditional administrative support role.
This is a high-ownership operational project coordination position for someone who loves creating order out of chaos, connecting the dots, anticipating problems, and making sure every detail comes together at exactly the right time.
You aren't starting from scratch. We’ve spent the last year doing the heavy lifting to build out a strong operational foundation. Are there still some friction points to smooth out? Absolutely. But the infrastructure is already in place—we just need the right person to step in, take full ownership, and optimize how it runs.
What You Will Own
You will manage the full lifecycle of installations each week, handling everything from permits, special-order materials, and subcontractors to schedule shifts and final inspections.
You May Be a Great Fit If You Are the Person Who…
We can teach you electrical terminology and technical workflows. What we cannot teach is exceptional follow-through, curiosity, urgency, and the instinct to take ownership.
Transparent, Performance-Based Compensation
We believe people should have a clear opportunity to earn more when they produce excellent results. In addition to your base compensation, you will be eligible to earn monthly bonuses through a straightforward operational scorecard. This bonus structure is transparent, process-driven, and designed to reward consistent operational excellence in key areas you directly influence:
There is no complicated, fluctuating commission math. When the operations run smoothly and project timelines are met, you win.
