About the Role:
Second Concept Coatings Inc is looking for a driven and experienced Lead to join our growing team in Albuquerque, NM! This is an exciting opportunity to take charge on job sites, guide a skilled crew, and deliver top-quality coating and finishing work that our customers trust and rely on.



Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise crew members on residential and commercial coating projects
• Oversee surface preparation, application, and finishing of coatings to ensure quality standards
• Coordinate daily workflow, assign tasks, and keep projects on schedule
• Communicate with project managers and clients regarding job progress and any issues
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and materials
• Enforce safety protocols and jobsite compliance at all times
• Inspect completed work for quality control before project sign-off

Requirements:

• Previous experience in coatings, painting, or a related trade is required
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience on a job site preferred
• Strong knowledge of surface preparation techniques and coating application methods
• Ability to read and follow project specifications and work orders
• Reliable, punctual, and able to manage a team effectively
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
