A rapid-growth residential and commercial floor coatings company is in a period of aggressive expansion — founded in 2023 and projecting approach to $100M in revenue by 2027. With multiple locations and high-velocity growth targets ahead, the company is hiring an Installation Manager to own field installation operations. This is a people-first, systems-driven leadership role — managing 30+ crews and approximately 75 field staff (and growing), building the operational playbooks that allow the business to scale without losing quality or consistency. The right person thrives in fast-paced trade environments, leads with accountability, and is energized by building things from scratch.

Role Overview

The Installation Manager will own end-to-end installation operations across all markets — from crew scheduling and quality control to SOP development and executive reporting. This is an HQ-based leadership role requiring regular field presence, strong cross-functional communication, and the ability to manage a high volume of simultaneous crews in multiple geographies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end installation operations across multiple markets, overseeing 30+ crews and approximately 75+ field staff
  • Drive accountability, performance metrics, and leadership development across crew leads and field technicians
  • Establish and continuously improve SOPs for installation, safety, quality control, scheduling, and reporting to support 200–300% growth
  • Lead quality assurance, safety programs, and process improvement initiatives across all operating markets
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Experience, Production, and Supply Chain to forecast capacity, optimize crew routing and utilization, and ensure clean operational handoffs

Required Background

  • 3+ years of experience in installation operations, construction operations, or trade services leadership
  • Proven experience managing large field teams — 50+ employees or 25+ crews simultaneously while operating in a high-growth, fast-paced environment (100%+ year-over-year growth
  • Strong leadership and accountability management track record — driving performance metrics and team development

Why This Role

  • High-Velocity Growth: Join a company tracking toward $100M in two years with the operational infrastructure still being built — your fingerprints will be on how it scales.
  • Real Ownership: Run the full installation operation with direct executive access — you are building the systems, not inheriting them.
  • Stable, Recession-Resilient Industry: Specialty trade services in residential and commercial coatings represent a growing, essential market with long-term career runway.
