Role Description The Installation Technician role is a contract, on-site position based in Austin, TX. In this role, the technician installs, configures, and tests network cabling and related hardware at customer locations, following technical specifications and safety guidelines. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing site surveys, running and terminating cables, labeling and documenting installations, and assisting in equipment setup as needed. The technician is expected to troubleshoot basic connectivity issues, communicate clearly with team members and customers, and ensure that work areas are clean and organized after each job. This position also involves maintaining accurate records of work performed, supporting quality and safety standards, and contributing to a positive customer experience throughout the installation process.
