JOB OVERVIEW

\n

We are seeking a Data Center Solutions Installation Technician to support a high-impact enhancement project at our Fortune 10 Hyperscale Cloud Services client’s data centers in the Berwick, PA region. The project is an effort to modernize and optimize the client's technical infrastructure, reinforcing reliability, efficiency, and performance across their facilities. As a key player in these efforts, you will execute a variety of hands-on tasks including containment system installation, field measurements and layout verification, and data center infrastructure modifications.

The ideal candidate is a reliable, detail-driven professional with a strong safety mindset and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to meaningful upgrades within world-class data centers while gaining highly marketable experience in infrastructure delivery at scale.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

\n

• \n
• High school diploma or equivalent required; certifications or training in carpentry, HVAC, construction, mechanics, or general contracting a plus.
• \n
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings; proficient with hand and power tools for fabrication, assembly, and installation.
• \n
• Self-motivated with a strong commitment to quality and accuracy; precise measurement skills using a tape measure to tolerances of 1/16" or finer, with strong problem-solving ability from technical documentation.
• \n
• Able to lift 30 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in elevated temperatures ranging from 90–120°F; comfortable working in confined spaces, on ladders, and at elevated heights.
• \n
• Ability to work effectively in active data center environments while following established safety and security procedures.
• \n
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to follow direction and collaborate with technicians and project leads.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• \n
• Execute projects on time and to specification by working from technical drawings and collaborating closely with lead technicians.
• \n
• Maintain accurate field documentation including measurements, task logs, and equipment configurations; support site enhancements and layout adjustments as directed.
• \n
• Enforce safe tool usage, sustain a clean and organized work environment, and hold yourself and teammates accountable to quality and safety standards.
• \n
• Identify and escalate site issues, discrepancies, or safety concerns in a timely manner.
• \n
• Support material staging and equipment handling to maintain project efficiency.

EXPECTATIONS

• \n
• Strict adherence to all client data center security protocols and PPE requirements is mandatory; PPE will be provided, though personal composite toe footwear is encouraged.
• \n
• Demonstrate reliability through consistent attendance, punctuality, and readiness to work.
• \n
• Flexibility required for client-mandated restricted or blocked workdays due to holidays or operational events; these will be communicated with as much notice as possible and are unpaid.
• \n
• When applicable, work as part of a mobile, schedule-driven team rotating between multiple data center sites, spending variable time at each location; scheduling is designed to minimize same-day travel.
