Installation Technician

The Installation Technician at Illuminated Integration is an individual who is detail-driven and plays a critical role in building, wiring, installing, and commissioning the systems that define our projects. You’ll work hands-on with technology, power tools, and equipment in both shop and field environments, collaborating closely with project managers, engineers, and other technicians to ensure every system is installed with precision, safety, and care.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and organize equipment, cables, and components for installation.
• Install low-voltage wiring systems according to project drawings and specifications.
• Safely rig and mount equipment, including lighting, AV, and motorized rigging systems.
• Fabricate or modify mounting hardware as needed to fit project requirements.
• Mark up and document line drawings or system changes during installation.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in system integration, installation, or commissioning.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and system layouts.
• Comfortable working at heights up to 60 feet on lifts, scaffolding, and rigging structures.
• Willingness to travel up to 90%, primarily Monday–Friday, with occasional longer trips (up to 3 consecutive weeks) based on project needs.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems, rigging, and AV technology preferred.
• Certifications such as ETCP, CTS, or CTS-I would be an added advantage.
• Strong problem-solving skills, mechanical aptitude, and attention to detail.
• Positive attitude and team-first mindset.
