Install Technician (Mobility Equipment Installer)

We install ramps, stairlifts, vertical platform lifts, and other accessibility equipment for residential, healthcare, and commercial customers throughout the region.
Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Install Technician to install, troubleshoot, and service mobility and accessibility equipment. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, basic electrical knowledge, and the ability to work independently while delivering excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
Install ramps, stairlifts, vertical platform lifts, and related accessibility equipment.
Read and follow installation manuals, diagrams, and technical instructions.
Perform basic electrical connections and mechanical assembly.
Troubleshoot installation issues and make necessary adjustments on-site.
Conduct site evaluations and verify installation requirements.
Complete service and installation documentation accurately.
Operate company vehicles, tools, and equipment safely.
Provide professional customer service in residential and commercial settings.
Follow all company and OSHA safety procedures.
Qualifications
Required:
Mechanical installation, construction, carpentry, HVAC, electrical, or similar technical experience.
Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
Basic electrical troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read technical manuals and installation instructions.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to lift and move 75+ lbs.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred:
Experience installing stairlifts, vertical platform lifts, ramps, or similar equipment.
OSHA certification.
Construction or trade-related background.
