About the Role:
Join our dynamic team at Home and Mobile Home Improvement Center as a Carpenter for Door and Window Installer! You'll be responsible for installing remolding products in homes and mobile homes in Florence, SC, and surrounding areas while delivering top-notch craftsmanship and customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Install doors and windows, kitchen cabinets, bathtubs, and water heaters with precision and attention to detail.
- Measure and cut materials to fit specifications accurately.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on existing door and window installations.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Provide excellent customer service and address client inquiries.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best installation practices.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a carpenter, specifically in door and window installation.
- Good repair skills in any area of the home.
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record and reliable transportation to and from work.
- Must feel comfortable driving a truck pulling a trailer.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and strength to handle tools and materials, climb ladders, and lift heavy items.
- Need to be able to work in both our extreme hot and cold temperatures as the seasons change.
- Must agree to drug, alcohol, and background checks.
