Job Summary: Duties/Responsibilities: Installs new roofs and roofing materials on residential homes and commercial buildingsInspects roofs to identify issues in need of repair and determines best solutionRemoves existing roofs and installs replacement roofing materialsReplaces plywood, joists, or other materials that are damaged or rottingPerforms other related duties as assigned Required Skills/Abilities: Must be able to demonstrate an honest work ethicBasic carpentry, construction, sheet metal or outdoor labor experience requiredKnowledge of roofing materials and installation helpfulAbility to work as part of a teamAbility to follow instructionsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to use hand and power toolsProficient math skills required Reliable transportation, valid driver license and ability to perform out of town work, when required Vertex is a small company, where employees matter.
