Maintain and service communications equipment and systems in a Integrated Communications Inc. Service Center or at a customer site, which includes limited testing, repairing, modifying, and installing.
Responsibilities include:
Performing functional and 'on-the-air' test of communication equipment. Repairing customer units by replacing defective modules or components. Making minor modifications to electronic circuitry per customer requests and/or factory updates. Installing communications and parts as necessary. Communicating with customer, installers, and/or area field technical representatives. * Operate company owned vehicles.
Qualifications:
Basic knowledge of audio, RF, digital, and microprocessor electronic circuits found in communications equipment. Ability to interpret schematics, blueprints, and diagrams. Ability to operate fixed and adjustable measuring and testing equipment. Ability to use hand and power tools. Ability to be available for emergency work at any time of day or night.
