The Institutional /Policy Analyst (Deputy Title IX Coordinator's) primary duty is to ensure the University of Hawai'i at Hilo is in compliance with its obligations under Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 by responding to allegations of sex and gender-based discrimination allegations, implementing supportive measures, and overseeing the complaint process as outlined in the University of Hawaii's Administrative Procedures. The Institutional /Policy Analyst (Deputy Title IX Coordinator) is also responsible for providing training on student and employee rights and responsibilities under Title IX.
