The Institutional Broker-Dealer Sales Support Associate plays a critical role in delivering exceptional service and operational support to institutional clients and sales representatives. This position serves as a key liaison between clients, sales, operations, trading, and external service providers, ensuring seamless a client experience throughout the account and transaction lifecycle.

This role is responsible for providing day-to-day sales support and coordinating a wide range of client service activities, including client onboarding and maintenance, processing account documentation, supporting and processing trades, facilitating funds movement, responding to client inquiries, and assisting with business development initiatives.

This dynamic role also contributes to special projects that drive process improvements, enhance service delivery, and support a scalable client experience.

• Support the institutional sales team throughout the trade lifecycle, including onboarding, trade support, settlement coordination, and exception management

• Develop and maintain strong, trusted client relationships by delivering exceptional client experience
• Serve as primary point of contact for clients, sales representatives, and internal partners. May act as an escalation point for client servicing issues
• Responsible for identifying, researching, analyzing and resolving complex problems with accounts
• Coordinate and process account onboarding/maintenance documentation and relevant information for accuracy and completeness before submission
• Performs updates and verifies client account information and/or transaction details in relevant systems and ensures compliance with standard regulations and processes
• Delivers scalable, repeatable processes to ensure all client requests have been handled accurately and timely
• Responsible for maintaining a high level of knowledge of products and services, systems and related technology, policies and procedures
• Support Liquidity products onboarding, services, and trading including including system demonstrations, trade and settlement processing
• Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely securities trade and settlement processing
• Facilitate funds movement requests
• Maintain desktop procedures and resources

 

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 5 or more years of experience within Investments/Financial Services
• Must obtain within 12 months of hire the FINRA SIE, Series 7 and Series 63
• 1 or more years of client service experience within Investments/Financial Services or related experience

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• At least 1 year of Broker dealer experience
• FINRA SIE, Series 7 and Series 63

• Experience supporting institutional clients within a broker-dealer, capital markets, or investment services environment.
• Experience supporting fixed income, liquidity, or capital markets products.
• Experience with onboarding, account maintenance, trade processing, and settlement activities.
• Knowledge of broker-dealer operations, regulatory requirements, and client servicing practices.
• Experience with Pershing NetX360, Bloomberg TOMS, or similar industry platforms.

• Proven experience in client service, operations, or sales support within financial services
• Detail oriented with exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills as well as strong organizational skills and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment; adaptive to change

Compensation Range:

70,000.00 - 140,000.00 Annual

The compensation range represents the anticipatedlow and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and education.  Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan.  In addition, Huntington provides a variety of benefits to colleagues, including health insurance coverage, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave programs, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
