About The Job
If you're the person friends and family turn to when something needs assembling, installing, or repairing, and you'd rather do it yourself than call a professional, BILT is looking for you. We are seeking individuals with a mechanical inclination, experience in 3D animation or technical illustration, a positive attitude, attention to detail, and artistic and visual communication skills. BILT Instruction Designers are responsible for creating content for the BILT app, working collaboratively with account managers and salespeople to enhance the 3D interactive instruction experience.

Qualifications

• 3D CAD and/or 3D Animation & Modeling software experience.
• Engineering/CAD degree desirable; will consider other education or relevant experience in lieu of formal degree.
• Ability to interpret existing 2D assembly instructions and using customer CAD, turn them into 3D animations utilizing various 3D applications.
• Proficient in the management of complex tasks from start to finish with tight deadlines in modeling, CAD, and Technical Writing that will use our software to create a new and revolutionary consumer experience.
• Strong technical capacity with the ability to read and understand manuals and technical documentation
• Solid computer skills with a working knowledge of MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong writing and grammar skills
• Extremely detail oriented
• All BILT employees are brand ambassadors for BILT and will be required to participate weekly (sometimes daily) in social campaigns to assist with the promotion of BILT
• Ability to read and understand assembly manuals and technical documentation.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, tablets, phones, photocopiers, email, and various communication programs (Zoom, Slack, etc.)
