Carteret Community College (Morehead City, NC) is accepting applications for an Instructional Affairs Coordinator.

The Instructional Affairs Coordinator assists with various tasks related to instructional compliance and outcomes, as well as College accreditation activities.
Duties include:
- Lead the Curriculum Review Committee in conjunction with the VP, Instruction and Student Support.
- Lead the annual review process of live projects, patron, course and instructional fees.
- Leads in drafting proposed instructional calendars, coordinating with the VP, Instruction and Student Support, ensuring that three years of calendars are planned and posted.
- Oversee the process of annually updating the curriculum catalog.
- Manages the Program Review schedule.
- Coordinate the schedule for program pinning dates.
- Assist with the collection and annual review of student learning and program outcomes, communicate information with key stakeholders and assist with development of action plans for improvement, as needed.
- Assist the Accreditation Liaison and Accreditation Committee with tasks related to substantive changes, notifications and accreditation renewal activities.
- Ensure that Faculty Roster Forms are accurate each term and that faculty credential packets contain appropriate transcripts and current licenses.
- Assist with activities related to new program approvals, including job market analysis, local needs assessments and employer support documentation.
- Assist with coordination of materials for NCCCS Compliance Review of instructional programs.
- Lead the annual review of the Lay Advisory Handbook and collect documentation of Lay Advisory Committee meetings.
- Ensure that other instructional documents such as syllabi, faculty handbook and course review forms are up to date and files.
- Serve on the Distance Learning Committee and ensure that online course reviews are ongoing, communicating results with relevant instructional leads.
- Teach two courses each semester in a general education discipline.
- Serve on College committees and task forces as assigned.
- Attend required campus events including graduation, professional development, & employee meetings.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Masters degree in a general education discipline
Knowledge and Skills:
- Two years experience participating in institutional accreditation activities.
- Three years teaching experience using a Learning Management System and service on Academic Affairs Committee.
- Preferred: Three years teaching experience in the NC Community College System (NCCCS) using a Learning Management System, and familiarity with the NCCCS Curriculum Procedures Reference Manual.

- 12-month employees work 1,976 hours per year, which allows for an adjusted summer schedule of 4-day work weeks.
