Job Summary
Under the direction of an assigned supervisor, assist a certificated teacher in reinforcing instruction to individual or small groups of special education students in a classroom or other learning environment. Assist in the preparation of instructional materials and implementation of instructional activities. Perform related clerical and health care duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS
Complete at least 2 years of study or 48 units at an institution of higher education college level. OR Obtained an associates or higher degree. OR Met pass an assessment that demonstrates knowledge of and the ability to assist in teaching reading writing and mathematics OR reading writing and mathematics readiness.
A valid California Drivers License is required of the successful applicant.

All employment with the Tuolumne County Superintendent of Schools is contingent upon successful completion of all pre-employment requirements, which includes but is not limited to fingerprinting, physical exam, and verification of negative tuberculosis.
