Job Summary
Under the direction of an assigned supervisor, assist in reinforcing instruction to individual and small groups of students with disabilities. Assist in the preparation of instructional materials and implementation of the students Individualized Education Program (IEP). Assist students with personal hygiene and self-help skills. Perform medical procedures and administer first aid and medications to students in accordance with State laws and District procedures. Under the general guidance of certificated personnel, assist in meeting the physical educational and social-emotional needs of students.

Education • High School Diploma or Equivalent
Licenses/Certificates • First Aid is required. • CPR certification is required. Employees will be required to obtain these certifications within five months of employment.

Experience • At least one year of experience working in an Instructional Aide classification and experience working with students with disabilities is desirable.
