Berks Career and Technology Center (BCTC) is seeking several dedicated Instructional Assistants to join our team and help high school students succeed in a hands-on, career-focused learning environment. This position will be available at the beginning of the 2026-2027 school year.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma and be proficient in math, reading and writing. Specialized training and/or working with youth is preferred. For the East Campus position, candidates possessing work experience in any technical trade is a plus. For the West Campus position, candidates possessing work experience in the Graphic Communications and/or Video and Media fields is a plus.

What is the schedule? Full-time (32.5 hours per week); work schedule is congruent with the school calendar (190 days). Summers off, no night or weekend work! Have off all the good holidays and never worry about traveling during weather-related days! A great Monday through Friday work schedule (8:00 am to 3:00 pm with a 30-minute lunch break) especially for retirees or a parent with school aged children.
