• Bachelor's Degree with a valid Texas Teaching Certificate

• Skills determined by campus administration

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Instructional Coach shall, under the joint supervision of the Campus Administrators and the Director of Technology, ensure that technology is effectively and appropriately integrated into classroom instruction.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist campus administrators to determine campus curriculum/technology integration needs and develop a plan of action to achieve integration.
• Facilitate campus/district meetings to prioritize technology integration w/instructional practices.
• Work closely with teachers to ensure the alignment of technology and curriculum.
• Provide/facilitate training opportunities based on teacher's needs.
• Represent the technology department as an instruction leader and coach.
• Meet with the Director Technology periodically for the purposes of idea sharing, personal professional development, budget preparation and other necessary support.
• Be responsible for required record keeping and preparation of reports and documents required by the Technology Department and/or campus.
• Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule to meet the instructional technology needs of the campus.
• Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• Five years classroom teaching experience
• Two years experience integrating technology into instruction
