The role of the Instructional Coach and Literacy Facilitator is to support and develop literacy instruction throughout a K-8 school. The Instructional Coach and Literacy Facilitator works one-on-one and in groups with teachers, providing guidance, training, professional development, and other resources as needed. Through observation, targeted feedback, modeling, and co-planning, the Instructional Coach and Literacy Facilitator works with the Teacher to focus on practical strategies for engaging students and improving their learning.
BFCCPS opened in 1995 as one of the first Charter Schools in Massachusetts. As a K-8 school, our mission is to assist parents in their role as primary educators of their children by providing students with a classical academic education coupled with sound character development and community service.
