POSITION DETAILS:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated teaching, data management, technology and leadership skills
- Knowledgeable about culturally responsive and sustaining pedagogies and Indiana academic standards
- Deep knowledge of instructional best practices
- Evidence of teacher-leadership experience
- Experience in effective instructional design and professional development
- Responsibilities include: Science of Reading -focused literacy implementation through instructional coaching, and curriculum and professional development with an emphasis on grades Prek-3 with additional support for grades 4-6.
- If a school is required to become a member of the Literacy Cadre Cohort through the IDOE, the coach role is transitioned to "Cadre Coach" and the job responsibilities are shifted to focus on grades kindergarten-3 only.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree required;Master's degree in education preferred
- Indiana Teacher's License
