Job Title: Color Guard Instructor

Reports To: Marching Band Director and/or High School Administrator

Stipend: $4,078 (2026-2027 season)

Schedule: Weekly Rehearsals 6:00 - 9:00 pm Tuesdays & Thursdays and competition days all day

every Saturday. Band camp week in August (Dates TBD) 9:00 - 9:00; Sectionals and Nationals;

Assist with the winter program, if any; Attendance at team meetings

Season: Fall (Early September through Early November)

Experience: Marching arts in general (color guard specifically); DCI and/or WGI experience

preferred. Experience in designing color guard work and choreography preferred.

Position Summary: The Color Guard Instructor will provide instruction, support, and

supervision for the students participating in the EHHS Color Guard.

Responsibilities:

• Choreograph the color guard work for the competitive show
• Schedule Rehearsals
• Adjust to feedback and results throughout the season
• Select and maintain equipment and costuming
• Assisting with member recruitment for future seasons
• Generally be a collaborative member of the design team and instructional staff
• Any other task as assigned by the Band Marching Director
