POTENTIAL POSITION:
- Instructional Coach ELA/Literacy
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Valid Ohio Teaching License required
ELA licensure (grades K-12 or appropriate grade band) preferred.
K-12 Reading Endorsement on Ohio teaching license preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Education required; Master's degree in Education, Reading, or Literacy preferred.
- Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of successful classroom teaching experience, including ELA or literacy instruction.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Ohio's Learning Standards for English Language Arts.
- Experience implementing evidence-based literacy practices and structured literacy instruction.
- Knowledge of and experience with MTSS/RtI frameworks and tiered instructional support.
- Experience administering and interpreting literacy screeners and diagnostic assessments to identify students at risk.
- Experience using student data to drive instructional decisions.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively with adult learners as a coach, mentor, and professional development facilitator.
- Adhere to Licensure Code of Professional Conduct for Ohio Educators.
- Must have successful BCI & FBI background checks.
- Must have successful drug test results.
- Must be willing and able to carry out the duties of the job description.
- Must perform any additional duties as assigned by building/district administration.
