JOB LOCATION: Schurz and Lincoln Elementary School

LEVEL: Elementary

CERTIFICATION: Current WI DPI Teaching License - Elementary

PERCENTAGE: 100%

START DATE: August 24, 2026

JOB DESCRIPTION: The WUSD is seeking an internal dedicated and innovative educator to support our elementary school faculty in enhancing instructional practices and student achievement in 2026-27. The successful candidate will collaborate with teachers to foster professional growth, integrate innovative teaching strategies, and improve student learning outcomes. This role is essential in providing instructional leadership, facilitating professional development, and guiding data-driven decision-making, with a special focus on supporting teachers in the implementation of evidence-based Tier 2 and Tier 3 interventions in literacy and mathematics.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Licensure: Valid DPI Teaching License- Elementary Education
  • Coaching certificate or willingness to pursue coaching certificate preferred but not required
  • Experience in facilitating professional development
  • Experience using data to inform instructional decisions
  • Experience collaborating with staff, departments, and administration to enhance student learning
  • Experience effectively incorporating technology into teaching practice
  • Must be available to complete any coaching related, district-required professional. development
  • Minimum five years of successful teaching is preferred
